Hi! My name is Juliana Brint and I’m a reporter with a passion for sharply focused journalism that caters to specific, engaged communities.

I’m an associate editor at Platts, the leading news and information provider for the energy and metals industries. At Platts I report on U.S. wholesale electricity markets, covering the policy changes, regulations, price trends and other issues that impact the power industry. I am also responsible for daily price assessments for several forward markets.

Before coming to Platts I earned my bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. During my four years at Georgetown I worked as a news writer, blogger and editor for the Georgetown Voice, a student-run newsmagazine covering the ins and outs of Georgetown University and the surrounding neighborhood. I also worked as a publicity intern at the Georgetown University Press and an editorial intern for the local alt-weekly, Washington City Paper.
